Steve was a star, he was a fantastic husband, a brillant dad and most o all a truly loved friend. He dedicated himself to his love of his wife Karen, his son Ewen and most of all his special girls Lanie and Sammy. He loved his job at Douglas Brae and most of all his stockcars.
Steve was a unique person who aways had time for others who needed his help, an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. You could never fault him for anything he was always their.
On the day of the 13th september in 2005 the world came crashing down on us as he was tragically taken away from us by the recklessness of another. The only hope we had is that he never suffered.
Days and years pass but the pain still hurts so bad, time is not a great healer and never will be. Steve was a much loved guy who will never be forgotten and w will always love him. We know he is still shining don on us with his cheeky smile and his laughter still can be heard.
Always loving a star forever.

But when I walked through heavens gates,

And then the lord looked down on me, from his golden throne.
He said, “this is for eternity, but I will promise you,
Although your life on earth has passed, here life starts anew”

And since each days the same up here,
There’s no longing for the past”
My loved ones, please don’t grieve for me,

And I will wait for you to come and share my life with me.
